The new implementation features five distinct modules: WebEx Meeting Center allows users to deliver advanced multi-media presentations and can support as many as six live video streams simultaneously. Meeting attendees can personalize settings, and Meeting Center now provides a private panel for the presenter, which displays the presenter's PowerPoint presentation notes and scripts.
The WebEx Event Center provides pre- and post-event support, event recording, as well as on-demand event streaming and archiving services, so future parties can be directed to existing online materials.
The WebEx Sales Center allows users to engage sales prospects outside of the context of a Web event. The Sales Center provides notification to designated users when a prospect enters through the Sales Center portal.
The WebEx Training Center offers training, testing and tracking capabilities to measure the effectiveness of online educational materials, as well as an automated waitlist so presenters can address excess demand.
The WebEx Support Center has also received improvements. The Support Center offers a new console option that allows moderators and support personnel to manage multiple help requests simultaneously. The Support Center also offers online instant messaging, as well as a library of answers to common questions, which permits support personnel to more quickly and effectively deliver immediate support.
The WebEx service is available to large and small businesses, and individuals. Sessions are priced by package or as individual products on a per-user basis. With the launch of Fall2007, WebEx is offering a free service demonstration. For more information about WebEx, visit http://www.webex.com/go/Fall2007Release.
