I have a backlog of products that are just waiting for me to review. I thought I would go ahead and post about them so that I commit myself to actually doing the review. My only plausible excuse is a minor disk crash that caused me to lose my primary working machine temporarily. It was running Windows XP 64 on an AMD 3200+ processor before the /windows/system32/config/system file became unreadable.

So, I have the following products in my inbox that I hope to look at over the following weeks:

Administrator's Pak from Wininternals. This is something I've been wanting to look at for quite a while and I have a copy thanks to them. I'll be installing it on an IBM workstation and putting it through its paces.

LANsurveyor 9.5 from Neon Software. This is a neat tool for mapping out your network. It will show you things on your network you didn't know about.

Clearsight Analyzer. This is a heavy duty network analyzer tool for diagnosing network problems. I also did an interview with one of the technical guys from the company that I hope to post.

There are others but that's enough to sign myself up to for the moment.
