Security Risk Management

Gambling with your network security is not a good idea. If you don't have a written risk management plan that has details about what you need to protect most, you might want to consider writing one. Microsoft has a Security Risk Management Guide that will help you get started. From the description:

This prescriptive guide helps customers of all types plan, build, and maintain a successful security risk management program. In a four phase technology-agnostic process, the guide explains how to build an ongoing process to measurelinks and drive security risks to an acceptable level.

It's a free download from the Microsoft Download site.
