Juniper Introduces E120 Broadband Services Router
Filed in archive Networking Products by Eileen Peck on July 09, 2007

Aside from the subscriber-focused feature support, the E120 has something for everyone, including its administrators. The E120 is equipped with impressive management features, including subscriber awareness, viewership tracking, dynamic bandwidth allocation, and subscriber-specific configuration pathways. This information management will allow the provider to provide viewership details for non-subscriber revenue generation from advertising, for administrative decision support, and program licensing.
For as big as the E120 sounds, it's a scaled-down version of the Juniper E-320. The E120 allows providers to scale existing IPTV solutions to locations with limited space and power capabilities. The device supports Layer 2 and Layer 3 network architectures, and a mixture of connection technologies, including xDSL, FTTx and wireless.
The E-Series Broadband Service Routers integrate with Juniper Networks' Dynamic Threat Mitigation solution, which can protect applications like VoIP, video and advertising servers. The E120 will hit the market in Q3 2007.
