Belkin Introduces New Wireless Router
Last week, Belkin introduced the N1 Vision, a wireless router with an interactive LCD display. The display reports router activity including download and upload speeds, network bandwidth usage, number of connected devices, guest access network key, and date and time of day.

The device is plug-and-play and offers a CD-less setup. It has a range of 1,600 feet and has an actual physical data rate of up to 300 Mbps in 20/40 MHz channel mode. The N1 Vision is compatible with 802.11g, 802.11b, 802.11n (draft) and 802.3ab modes. It features one 1Gb WAN port and 4 1GB LAN ports, and supports WPA, WPA2, 64-bit and 128-bit WEP encryption, multiple SSID support and Wi-Fi Protected Setup. The device can also support VPNs with PPTP and IP Sec passthrough. The router retails for about USD $200.
